First and Second United Nations Surveys of Crime Trends and Operations of Criminal Justice Systems (1970 - 1980) The researcher is encouraged to retrieve WLDINTRO.ZIP which is an introductory and explanatory file, and also contains textual information explaining the large table in the second file WORLD_TB.ZIP. This file contains the bulk of the data. However, WLDINTRO.ZIP contains a substantial table showing countries that responded to the Surveys. Data in ASCII format These are data from a validation survey that attempted to validate existing data for the First and Second United Nations Surveys of Crime Trends and Operations of Criminal Justice Systems. Attempts were also made to fill in some missing data. The data are in ASCII. They are not compressed. Please be sure to get the
